Picasso Bungee Floatline 10 mm

The Picasso Bungee Floatline 10 mm is an elastic, floating line section designed to absorb peak loads within a spearfishing float system. Rather than transferring the full force of a sudden run directly to the spear connection, float, line and speargun, the latex tube extends progressively and maintains pressure as the load changes.

This controlled stretch cushions abrupt acceleration and helps reduce shock loading throughout the rig. It is particularly useful where a rigid connection could create a sharp impact at the spear hold, shooting line, clips or float attachment.

Load control and safety core

The latex outer section stores energy gradually, softening the initial impact and continuing to apply tension through changes in direction. Inside, the doubled Dyneema core limits maximum extension and serves as a mechanical backup if the latex becomes cut or damaged, helping preserve the connection between the shooting system and float.

The reinforced end loops allow the bungee to be combined with clips, swivels, a conventional floatline or other breakaway components. Shorter variants can be used as compact shock absorbers; longer variants provide a greater working distance and more progressive energy absorption.

Rinse with fresh water after use and store away from direct sunlight, heat, fuel and solvents. Inspect the latex, internal core and both terminations before every session. Working stretch and service life depend on load, temperature and condition.
