RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

1. Overview

At subandcast, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you are not fully satisfied, you may request a return in accordance with the terms below.

This policy complies with EU consumer protection regulations.

2. Return Period

You have the right to request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

3. Conditions for Returns

To be eligible for a return, items must:

  • Be unused and unworn

  • Be in original condition

  • Include all original packaging, tags, and accessories

  • Not have been used in water or outdoor environments

4. Hygiene and Safety Policy

Due to the nature of diving and water sports equipment, strict hygiene and safety standards apply.

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of any items that have been:

  • Used in water

  • Worn against the skin (including wetsuits, masks, snorkels, or similar items)

  • Opened or unsealed where hygiene seals are present

Any such items are considered non-returnable once opened or used, in accordance with EU consumer protection exemptions.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Items that have been used in water

  • Wetsuits, masks, snorkels, or similar items that have been worn or tried in water

  • Items returned in a condition not suitable for resale

  • Personalized or custom-made products

  • Hygiene-sensitive items once opened

We reserve the right to refuse any return that does not meet these conditions.

6. Return Process

Include:

  • Your order number

  • Reason for return

  • Photos (if applicable)

If your return is approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

7. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service

  • We are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit

8. Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 days

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

9. Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide photos of the issue

We will:

  • Offer a replacement, repair, or refund

  • Cover return shipping where applicable

10. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges.
If you require a different size or product, please return your item (if eligible) and place a new order.

11. International Orders

For orders shipped outside Ireland:

  • Customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import charges

  • These charges are non-refundable

  • Returns must be sent back at the customer’s expense

12. Abuse of Returns

We reserve the right to refuse returns or refunds where we suspect abuse of our returns policy.
