Picasso Bluewater Float

The Picasso Bluewater Float is a high-buoyancy inflatable float engineered for demanding spearfishing float systems. Its bright orange Hypalon body combines high visibility with the tough construction associated with the material used for rigid-inflatable-boat tubes. When inflated to its specified pressure, the float develops the rigidity and displacement required to resist heavy loading at the surface.

The long profile and underside attachment layout are designed to direct pull along the float rather than straight down through its centre. This helps the float remain flatter on the surface, resist being dragged underwater and encourage a loaded rig to pull horizontally.

Rigging and size selection

The reinforced underside D-rings distribute pull through the body of the float and provide separate attachment positions for configuring the main line and secondary rigging. Optional ballast in the two weight sleeves improves upright trim and steadies the flag mount without occupying the primary attachment points.

The 11 L, 22 L and 35 L versions allow the buoyancy reserve to be matched to the complete rig. A larger volume provides greater displacement and resistance to submersion; the appropriate choice depends on the intended loading, floatline arrangement and whether multiple floats are used.

Supplied without flag and without weights. Flags and 100 g Bluewater weights are separate accessories. Inflate with an appropriate low-pressure pump and pressure gauge; do not exceed the stated 1 ATM rating. Rinse with fresh water and inspect the body, valve, seams, handles and attachment points before use.
